Oak Dining Tables, located in IL, began in response to a need for quality hardwood furniture for the home. First we started with a show room to display our Amish furniture for the local area but as we became aware of the severe lack of quality furniture available

we began to offer our Amish furniture on the Internet. We now ship out Amish tables, chairs, beds, dressers, hutches, desks and much more nationwide. All our furniture is built by the Amish in the heart of Amish country.

At Oak Dining Tables we put an emphasis on customer relations. Honesty and communication are important to us. We understand that purchasing furniture online can feel a bit risky and we invite you to ask as many questions as often as you like- we want you to be comfortable with your investment. Oak Dining Tables specializes in Amish built solid hardwood furniture. Our furniture story begins with some of Holmes County’s finest furniture woodworkers, bringing together years of woodworkers’ design & expertise, to cooperatively develop this fine line of furniture & cabinetry. As a result of this combined effort, we offer a large selection of quality Amish furniture & cabinetry that will add warmth and beauty to your home. You can rest assured that our furniture is real and contains no synthetic substitutes.

All our furniture is built by the Amish using solid materials- no particleboard. All the stain on our furniture is hand rubbed and finished with a catalyzed varnish to ensure a fine line of furniture & cabinetry that will last for generations. Whether you need a new bedroom suite, dining set or furniture for the office we have the Amish furniture for you!

We here at Oak Dining Tables work hard to have the furniture delivered to your door in excellent condition! Your furniture comes insured so you are fully covered if any damage occurs during shipping. If there is a defect in the workmanship we will stand behind it!

Because all our furniture is custom built when you order it, Countryside Cabinetry does not accept returns. If on rare occasions, (such as the death of a recipient) and the furniture is no longer needed when the furniture arrives, Countryside Cabinetry will refund the customer if the furniture is returned at the customer's expense plus a 15% restocking fee. This also applies if furniture needs to be returned for any other reason.
Once an order is placed, it is processed immediately in order to get your furniture as soon as possible. If on rare occasion the customer wishes to cancel within 24 hours - there will be a minimum charge of $15 to compensate for credit card merchant fees.

*About Amish Furniture Construction*
		Proper Planning To first begin building solid wood furniture, the Amish begin by properly planning the dimensions of the dining room table, chair, office desk, living room chair, or the oak corner hutch. They do this by measuring and making accurate drawings.
		Handcrafted in a Shop Once properly planned, they begin sawing all the necessary pieces for the furniture and gluing them together to make sure the wood is completely uniform. You can customize the furniture to meet your needs and we at Countryside Cabinetry work diligently to do so.
		Custom Routed Furniture Many different pieces of the furniture require special routing and that is another reason why we offer great quality handcrafted furniture. We offer specially designed and crafted furniture pieces that stick out and are not made in china or over-seas.
		Dovetailed Drawers Dovetailed drawers is a major importance when purchasing furniture due to the furniture holding up over time. In most cases, our dovetailed drawer boxes will stand true to 200 pounds of weight. Now that is impressive for solid wood Amish furniture!
		Hand Sanding Pictured to the right is the hand sanding process that is used for our solid oak dining tables, chairs, and furniture. The sanding portion of the process allows the furniture to be smoothed out before the stain is hand rubbed which is the next process.
		Hand-Rubbed Stain & Catalyzed Varnish A hand-rubbed stain and catalyzed varnish is important for the furniture in the finishing phase. We offer hand rubbed stains and even now offer bi-color stains which are a premium stain.
		Quality Extension Table Slides Pictured to the left is our gear driven slides that allow you as the customer to open and close the table flawlessly. No more old wood grind slides that make it a difficult task to open the table. Also, within these gear driven slides, most tables can actually self store the table leaves within the table.
