Is shipping expensive? YES, but all that means is your getting quality furniture delivered to your door safely. The main cost of shipping is the packaging which is well worth the price. The furniture is packaged with "foam in place," boxed and palletized to ensure safe arrival. Since their is no sales tax (unless IL), you can usually average that half of the cost of shipping would be sales tax while the other half pays for delivery. Not to mention you will not find any better deal locally and YOUR GOING TO SAVE MONEY!! How is the furniture assembled? Most items arrived pre-assembled like dressers, beds, sideboards, chairs, etc. Some pieces of furniture like pedestal tables, feet, and/or legs need a 1/2 inch wrench or socket to assemble. Furniture like hutches and mirrors for dressers need to be attached with a phillips screw driver. Assembly takes minutes and the joy will last for generations! What if my furniture arrives damaged? We will fix it! We have setup multiple inspection locations and they are inspected before ever leaving the builder, finisher, and the shipping facility. Damage is very rare due to our advanced shipping procedure through PackShip USA. All of the furniture is 100% insured through Packship and their carriers as well! Local Pickup & Chicago IL Delivery Great news, we can ship your item to IL for $85 or deliver to Chicago and surrounding areas for as low as $110. We do allow our customers to pickup their furniture from Ohio 7AM-3PM EST weekdays only. Your going to need a truck or trailer to transport your furniture and will be responsible for the furniture after it leaves the warehouse. Call us for details at 888-297-4555. How long will it take to get my furniture? Our expected lead time is 8-10 weeks but can take shorter/longer depending on manufacturer, finishing, packaging, and shipping distance. Even though the furniture takes some time, patience will be worth the wait of a lifetime heirloom... Your furniture is going to leave memories in your heart. We now offer a quickship program that allows you to get most items already stained and ready to go, just visit Simply Amish Quickship Program HERE! Can you send me stain blocks, fabric, or leather samples? YES, we can and will send you anything to help you make a lifelong decision. However, we don't want to become the world's largest stain block mailing facility so we only charge for samples if the order is not placed. Once 50% is down on the order, we will work closely with you to ensure a perfect color/fabric. Can you do custom work and/or minor alterations? YES, we can do custom work and many different alterations. We have professional Amish solid hardwood craftsmen that have been building furniture for generations that are specialized in their fields. You can add 15% to 40% for alterations and custom work done to furniture. Simply e-mail us the changes that you would like us to alter. Can you send me high-resolution photographs? We are working to add hi-resolution photographs to all of our images on the web. If you find a particular piece and would like it in high-resolution, simply send us an e-mail and we can add it for you. Are all items shown here?
