Available in oak and cherry, these solid wood dining chairs come in a variety of stains to coordinate with the rest of your dining set. Available as side chairs or arm chairs each comes full assembled for your convenience.

The Amish carefully handcraft each oak dining chair using only solid hardwoods and then finish it with a catalyst finish. Invest in solid wood furniture that you can enjoy for a lifetime!

Solid Wood Benches with Backs
Convert your oak and cherry benches into storage benches to store all your excess. Most of our benches have the capability to add storage compartments below the base known as storage benches or deacon's benches. The pressback bench also has the ability to have a beautiful design (of your choice) pressed into the back, however, most benches do not have that ability because of not having a wide enough space in the back to impress the design. However all benches can come with arms - or without the arms as priced. Add a scooped seat to your solid wood bench in order to make it extra comfortable or keep it as it comes standard - with a flat seat.
The Builders
The Amish have long been known for their fine craftsmanship in solid wood furniture. Each bench is carefully hand built by the Amish who select only the finest hardwoods. They know the importance of a well constructed furniture. They have large families and cannot afford to be buying cheap prefabricated furniture that will have to be replace every few years. So quality furniture is of utmost importance! Furniture that they can be proud of and hand down to their descendants
as treasured heirlooms!

Solid Hardwood Furniture

At a time when mass production and the use of synthetics and veneers has become the standard, we offer you solid wood furniture, inside and out. Our Amish craftsmen pay personal attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship instead of volume. And because each piece is handcrafted, you can be assured that the furniture you purchase is made of the highest quality wood.

We provide solid wood furniture pieces to complement every room in your house. From tables, chairs, barstools, and hutches, to beds, dressers and armoires, we've got a great selection of solid wood furniture for every style and budget. And every piece of solid wood furniture is beautifully handcrafted by the Amish and finished with a catalyst finish, ready to go right into the room of your choice upon delivery.

Since all our solid wood furniture is custom made, we do not build until you, the customer, order and give us all the specs. Once the order is placed, please allow 8-12 weeks for delivery. (which is an estimated time for arrival. We cannot guarantee an exact date since it is contingent on many different factors.) For a rush order on your solid wood furniture, please contact us and we will see if it's possible to expedite it.

Our handcrafted solid hardwood furniture is generally available in oak or cherry wood. Some pieces are also available in quartersawn oak, maple,  maple, or hickory.

Select the finish that's right for you. You can pick a light wood like maple, or a darker mahogany. Browse through the large variety of solid wood tables, hutches, chairs, bedroom furniture, and office furniture to pick out the style and shade you want. Customize your solid wood furniture for your home and to your satisfaction!

Oak wood is a naturally light wood with a prominent grain, which makes groves in the wood that you can feel when you slide your finger across them. This grain is evident even with dark stains and usually appears darker than the rest of the wood. Knots may occasionally appear in the wood, which add to its character.

Cherry wood has less grain and is quite smooth. It has a natural light red tone but can be stained to create many appearances. Cherry has very small "pits" that are dark in appearance and create a dip in the wood. Cherry naturally darkens with age and sometimes features contrasts in color. This is part of the charm of cherry, and should be expected. Cherry wood comes naturally with sap wood (which is a lighter thread of wood running through the cherry wood) In order to avoid seeing it we recommend selecting a light stain to cover it. Cherry furniture is also very beautiful with a dark red stain.

Maple is naturally a light wood with very little grain that is quite smooth. Since Maple is such a dense wood it does not absorb stain as well so is not recommended if you wish your furniture to be dark.

Walnut is a dark wood with a medium amount of grain that makes slight groves in the wood. Even with different stains, the appearance of walnut does not change much. Knots may occasionally appear in the wood.

Hickory is a relatively light wood with a lot of grain. The appearance of natural hickory does vary from a very light appearance to a medium dark appearance. These differences will show up on a piece of furniture.

The beauty and durability provided by solid hardwood is undeniable. It provides several unique benefits:

- Enduring value from one generation to another.
- Natural warmth that synthetics cannot give.
- Expression of each individual tree by its own unique color and grain.

Solid hardwood furniture can also be repaired if damaged because there is no veneer or artificial surface that can be scraped or rubbed through.

Hardwoods are a natural fiber. Therefore, even furniture that has a good protective finish may swell or shrink slightly from one season to another. With proper care, your solid wood furniture will bring you satisfaction for years to come.
